Post by Stephen WorthPost by R. WestermeyerAnd Mr. Important, when someone complains about the delivery, don't be
an ass and turn their complaint into one about the product.
OK, you aren't complaining about the quality... you are complaining
about the tardiness...
The question is, why get all pissed off and angry at Spumco and TNN
when a cartoon is late? You've gone ten years watching mediocre
cartoons on TV. A week or two more isn't going to kill you.
Heck, you could sit down with your VCR's remote and still frame through
the last few shows and find enough wonderful drawings in there to match
the entertainment value of a whole season of any other cartoon
currently on the air.
If you paid twenty bucks for the cartoon and you didn't get it on time,
sure... go ahead and complain. But these cartoons are free, and odds
are you are taping them and cutting out the commercials so you can play
over and over again forever. If someone gave me a treat for free that I
got to enjoy forever, I sure wouldn't complain if it was a week or two
late!
The only reason to do that would be if you think the world owes you
treats, if you had a grudge against the giver, or you never liked that
kind of treat in the first place. It could also be due to poor
upbringing and a lack of appreciation.
Post by R. WestermeyerOh, and the other prick you said this TNN tech, or donut boy or
whatever never implied that he's "important", I encourage you to look
back at earlier threads, in which he responded to "Are you Mr. TNN?"
with "You could say that."
I think I said, "sort of". TNN doesn't sign my checks, but their money
is certainly in there.

Funny how with the original R&S, the later seasons were more...season
like, in terms of quantity.
Quality didn't suffer either, as far as I'm concerned. I mean, the
masterpiece of the Happy Hat episode and Stimpy's Big Day remain
unrivaled, but I don't agree that the show went to shit after K left,
or was fired . I own all the episodes, and there are some episodes
without K's involvement that parallel and even exceed the earlier ones
in terms of humor and creativity.
Your defense is the network didn't owe it to the viewers to offer what
they'd hyped: a season. This hasn't been a season. It's been shows
lopped off the last two minutes with an equal dose of commercials,
shows not starting on time, numerous false scheduling, repeats.
I don't even allude to know what the problem is, because I don't, and
wouldn't believe you if you said you did, because you're obviously
someone's toady.
If it's solely the network's fault, I hope K and his band of
brilliant artists pack up and pitch to another network.
If it's the creator's fault, that is, inability to keep to a schedule,
I suggest he shape up. For the sake of the show remaining on, and for
the loyal fans.
