Post by CleoCatPost by William BowieGiven the slow down in posts..are people giving up on the new R&S and
SpikeTv?
No. The audience in general appreciates the zen exercise that consists
of waiting for new episodes of REN AND STIMPY to be completed in a
timely fashion, almost as if it was a "regular" TV show that was subject
to the archaic disciplines of "responsibility" and "accounting".
Post by CleoCatDoes anyone know if John K
approves of this sort of thing? I know that the Southpark creators
approve of having their episodes available for download, and Comedy
Central even links directly to other websites that have such episodes
In truth, the newest REN AND STIMPY episodes are written by Parker and
Stone themselves. It's kind of a big joke, feeding off the erroneous
rumors of a feud between the creators of SOUTH PARK and the creators of
REN AND STIMPY. John K is in no way involved in the production of the
new REN AND STIMPY shows, because he is totally invested in the new
installments of the GUMBASIA series of shorts begun by Art Clokey in
1950. They will premiere as Nick interstitials in 2004. John
Kricfalusi worhips Art Clokey, even more than he worships the late Bob
Clampett and his hot widow Sody.
Post by CleoCatlike I said, I haven't seen the new R&S yet, but I've read about it a
bit and it sounds interesting. As for old, season 1 was my favorite,
though I didn't see anything from seaon 3 onward unfortunately
Season 4 was the one in which Uncle Martin was revealed to the world as
a martian, and also he came out of the closet but nobody cared. Then in
season 5, young actor Haley Joel Osment joined the cast as the
heartwarming discarded robot born of selfishness, then everybody died
and FAIRLY ODDPARENTS took over the world.
